What are your wedding colors? You have to know these things when you’re a bride, you know.
We waited to nail down our wedding colors until I started work on the invitation suite. Now that I’ve (finally) started work on that, we got our color palette!

Crossing this easy item off our to-do list has taken a weight off my shoulders. Now we can move forward in confidence and keep me narrowed down and reined in. You heard that right, Mr. P! I’m ready to make decor decisions.
When did you decide on your color palette?
Such pretty colors! I thought we were good with just red, black and white and then I started to look at everything together and felt like it was missing something. So we added aqua to the mix!
Love the Monty Python reference, and love the color choices.

I love love love your colors! Even though I don’t wear a lot (read:any) of he clothes (mostly because I can’t afford them), Lilly Pullitzer’s colors are like the soundtrack to my life.
WHAT IS THE AIRSPEED VELOCITY OF AN UNLADEN SWALLOW? Rock on.
But to answer your question, we decided pretty early. Burgundy was it and sage was always a contender, particularly after we got married in a green room.

@RobinBananas: Lilly dresses with the fun colors and prints are quintessentially summer. Walking into a LP store last year for the first time, I realized it was out of my budget too.

I was lucky with our colors. We love wine and got engaged in a vineyard in Sonoma, so our colors are inspired by wine - burgundy and light green. We’ve been able to tie them into just about every aspect of the wedding so far, which is making the planning a lot easier.
This palette has me counting down the days to your wedding - it’s going to be spectacular, miss pc!!!

On a Mac: Command-Shift-4 to select your area with the marquee tool. On a PC: Prt Scr or Print Screen button on your keyboard and paste into a photo editor program, like MS Picture Manager.
