They are flashy, they are sky high, and they would most likely end up kicked off, under the table during the reception… but man, are they fabulous.
Rose gold SHOES? Are you kidding me, Brian Atwood?!?
This is the first pair of shoes I’ve seen and thought, “YES. These would work!” See, I’m being extra picky about my footwear because (*big wedding dress hint coming up!*) my gown came in under budget, thus allowing my shoe budget to grow to couture levels of awesomeness. I could pocket the extra money… or I could get shoes. Sigh. I hate having to decide between practicality and shoes. I am a very practical girl. But lately I’m feeling the urge to splurge on beauties like these:

We’ll see. Practical Sparkler usually wins these internal battles. Plus, I’m a huge fan of getting affordable shoes and dressing them up with pretty shoe clips.

Did anyone splurge big time on their shoes? What did ya get?
I splurged BIG big time on a pair of Manolos. They were my something blue, and I got so many great comments on them. I definitely don’t regret spending the extra money–although those shoe clips in the second to last picture are great too!
Oh I love the Manolo’s!!! And the rose gold shoes.
I wanted to super splurge on Jimmy Choo’s but I ended just mini splurging on Bagdley Mischkas!
I splurged big time too! I bought a pair of Christian Louboutin’s! I bought them in nude so I can wear them again after the wedding…good excuse right?!

I did not splurge on my shoes for the ceremony. They were $45 at DSW, but I am in search of sparkly flats for the reception and I have found a reasonable pair by Steve Madden and a not so reasonable pair by Stuart Weitzman. I am unsure which pair I will buy, because I am currently trying to justify the splurge to myself by telling myself I saved so much on my heels and I will totally rewear my flats.
Did you check out the new Jimmy Choos at Saks? They have a nice selection of rose/pink colored shoes. I got the rose colored slingbacks and I LOVE them.

i bought a pair of Louboutin’s and after months of waiting…. i didn’t like them. 
bought another pair, didn’t like them. they looked weird on my feet.
i returned them and bought an adorable pair of Joan&David’s called Funn.
i’ve had fun spending the $485 dollars that i saved!

Are the Steve Madden shoes “Kinnetic” glitter flats? Just an FYI, I saw those shoes and thought they were super cute too. Then, I found basically the EXACT same thing at Target for…wait for it….$12.99!!! And I think they are SUPER comfy. :o)
Spulrging on my first ever pair of loubies! When else am I going to have an excuse to buy a pair? Plus my dress came in over $1k under budget 
Tory Burch flats, another Coach purse… and a steal of a deal $57 flight and hotel package to go to Vegas (seriously!) to buy them!

So many amazing shoes! How to choose??? The shoes that I bought for our wedding aren’t the most expensive pair I’ve ever purchased - but I suppose if you take into account the fact that I went to Seattle to get them (from Calgary) then I suppose you could say I did splurge big time!
Holy crap, lady, you have excellent taste in shoes. The rose gold ones are freaking insane. As are the Miu Mius.
I will admit, I do LOVE the Atwoods but maybe you can find a compromise by checking out the Outnet or hitting up high end consignment stores/Marshalls, etc so you could still get a high end shoe but hopefully for a bit cheaper! Or at least get those Atwoods with a coupon or on sale or something!
So many pretty shoes! Ugh for practicality. I have such a hard time justifying more than $100 on shoes! Good luck with the choices!
