I don’t know how this will work with my veil or whatever hairstyle I end up choosing, but I waahaahaaaaant a hair flower. I NEED one. I don’t know why, but I will not rest until I get one! I’ve yet to make any purchases from Etsy, but that was the first place I looked for some purty hair doodads, and here’s what I came up with:

I’m having my veil for the ceremony and flower for the reception. I think it will still look great with both veil and flowers!

I’m wearing just the hair flower and forgoing a veil. I think it works nicely if you wear the veil on the back of your head and tuck the flower into the very top, or you could just wear it for the reception.

P.S. Etsy is awesome! My fiance bought his wedding band from an Etsy seller and it was a great experience!

There is a trend soft chingon at the nape of the neck, hair flower inserted in the side, and veil placed at the top of the head. All evidence was found using google image search (hair flower with veil).

I wore mine under a veil for the ceremony (I just couldn’t imagine walking down the aisle without a blusher and I loved my flower) and without the veil for the reception.

I LOVE hair flowers! I just purchased a custom one that accents my dress and flowers that are going to be on my sash!

I bought one on Etsy, but didn’t like it when it came, so I made my own from a deconstructed silk flower from Michaels and some loose faux pearl beads I had lying around.

I wore both the flower and veil for the ceremony and photos (veil over top of flower and side bun) and then just the flower for the reception. Loved it!

Oh, I LOVE Virginia Geiger! I bought my bridal jewelry from her (pearly girl necklace & bracelet) and absolutely love them. VERY well made and stunning! I too have been thinking about the veil/hair flower dilema. For the ceremony I have a lovely cathedral veil, but it will come off for the reception…it’s just too long. Good luck making your choice!
