My absolute favorite photos from the day were our college campus pictures. One of our wedding requirements was having photos taken at Salve. We chose to get married in Newport because of all of our history there. We really wanted to make the college photos happen. We paid $150 to reserve the site and it was well worth it.

We got to take photos at our campus admissions building. The building has special meaning for us since it was where many campus events are hosted, including the Halloween Dance which was one of the first times we went out together. We didn’t even dance together at it. But, we did have our first dance there a few months later at the Winter Sno-Ball, the school’s semi-formal.

The admissions building has amazing architecture.

The building is right on the cliffwalk and has gorgeous ocean views.

There were multiple photo options between the gorgeous mansion, the sprawling lawn, the ocean views and the campus’ beautiful trees.

It was the perfect place for photos because there were so many locations within one area.

Mr. Starfish and I wanted to make sure we had the opportunity to get lots of photos of just the two of us. I’m a bit camera shy, especially when others are around, so we asked our second shooter to take photos of the wedding party, while we were off with the photographer and videographer. We kind of just walked around the mansion grounds and took photos.

We had a lot of fun.
