I’ve already talked about our cakes, but while wandering around Target with a friend one night, I stumbled upon these two books:

Y’all, there are so many adorable cupcake decorating ideas in these books! I knew I had to share them. Also, there’s step-by-step directions not only for the correct way to frost/decorate cupcakes, but for each idea. Awesome, because otherwise I would never be able to figure it out!

Anyone DIYing a cupcake tower? There were so many ideas in these books that I’d never even considered before in cupcake decorating. Check it out:

I saw those books at Target too! I wanted to get them because the cupcakes are so cute. I think cupcakes would be so cute for a wedding.

we are doing cupcakes for the bridal party in addition to the small cutting cake we will have but I have no idea what they are going to look like! My baker is a girl I went to high school with and all her designs are so awesome that I gave her free reign to do as she wished! I am sure they will be great and delicious!

We are doing a cupcake tower instead of a wedding cake! I posted a photo of what it looks like on this board. It’s down toward the bottom of the first page! I love it!!

I heart cupcakes, but that may be because I own a side cupcake business. I fell in love with them while baking for my BFFs baby shower. I was planning on baking for my own wedding but our venue catering comes with a cake. I know that will save me some stress in the end. Guess I will have to bake for my shower and rehearsal instead!
