After the bouquet toss and a bit more barn-stompin’, Mr. Husky announced that he would be enjoying a bottle of Basil Hayden’s and an Ashton maduro cigar on the front porch, and welcomed any interested guests to join.

Yes, that is a baby bottle nipple atop the bottle of whiskey, but I can assure you the baby did not imbibe.
Quite a few folks were indeed interested in joining, and I think a large majority of the remaining guests ended up on the porch with us.



We also used this opportunity to distribute gifts to our wonderful friends who truly went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect.

We all raised our glasses (and gifts) into a group toast:

And then it was time for our photographers to leave.
As we prepared to return to the barn, a sudden light-bulb appeared: We hadn’t signed our marriage license yet! I have no idea why we didn’t do it right away; too distracted, I suppose. Obviously the lighting was not in our favor, and the professional lenses of our photographer were long gone.

We tucked the license into our wine box, and returned to the barn for the after-party.
