Mrs. Seal's Picture
Mrs. Seal, San Francisco Age and Occupation: 25, Personal Assistant Fiance's Age and Occupation: 29, Sales and Support Specialist Engagement Date: December 12, 2009 Wedding Date: November 2011 Venue: Sts Peter and Paul Church/The Bently Reserve About Me: I am a goofy, wannabe crafty, well-intentioned Renaissance Woman (OK, perhaps "aimless wanderer" is a more aptly suited term for me, but hopefully you get the point)—basically I dabble in just about everything and pride myself in such. Without warning, I occasionally breakout into soulful improvised songs and interpretive dances and there's just no stopping me! As so many others before me, planning our wedding has unearthed a deep, intense passion for all things bridal and I secretly fear the day it will come to an end. Mr. Seal and I are quite the pair and life with him by my side is extremely rewarding—I am so thankful to have found him. Together we are planning a black-tie San Francisco affair for 250—light on the stuffiness and with lots of extra Seal-y flair.
About Mrs. Seal

I absolutely love our photographer. I am so impatient, and I mentally prepared myself for a month of agonizing waiting after our engagement shoot before we’d see any photos. Well, surprisngly, he only took two days to edit. That, my friends, is what I like to refer to as: an ENGAGEMENT MIRACLE!

Thank you to Ramin of The Marin Studio for all of the following amazing photos. Despite a vicious lesson in Murphy’s Law (complete with dense fog and lots of rain), we ended up with amazing photos that we will cherish for a lifetime!

And another special thank you to my little cousin Christina for my hair and makeup. :) She went through quite a bit (including being the victim of a hit-and-run) to make me feel beautiful all day long, and I am so grateful. You are a total rock star, and I am a lucky girl.

The first set of photos that I am going to share were taken during a private tour of AT&T Park in San Francisco. As I’m sure you’ve all gathered by now, Mr. Seal and I are big on baseball and it seemed the perfect backdrop to our love story.

LOVES IT!! As a Giants fan myself, I truly appreciate your engagement photos. I asked my fiance just the other day what he thought our wedding colors should be, and you know what he said? BLACK AND ORANGE- so that our wedding would be Giants themed! LOL

Did they allow you to take pictures with her without charging extra? We would love to do something like this there, but thought it would be crazy expensive!

So cute! I am a fellow baseball gal :) I worked in the Mariners front office but gave it up to move to Oregon and get married. I am sure I can still pull some strings for something like this. Great…now you got me thinking Miss Seal!

OMG! I absolutely love this! My fiance is a Rays fan, and I’m a Marlins fan. It would be so amazing to do a photo shoot at the new Marlins stadium…

Thanks for the idea! I love your engagement photos!

These are beautiful! How did you gain access to the park? Was it expensive or do you just have awesome connections??

These are so adorable! Our engagement shoot was done in San Francisco, too! We live around the corner from the entrance to Mount Davidson, so we shot the casual pics up there, then down to West Portal for fancy shots.

I can’t wait to see more of your pics!

Seal these are adorable, you guys are such a pair; you can feel the love!! My favorite pic would have to be the two of you standing with the hats on. And your smile is contagious!!

Thanks everyone :) I’m really quite pleased with how they came out! The park was such a fun place for the shoot. (Also thanks for the compliments on my smile! I’m happy it comes off as contagious and not too goofy)

@crayfish; @Allison: All we had to do was schedule a private tour (which was much more affordable than I imagined). I’ll PM you guys the info :)

@jenburgh: Awwe, yay! I’m glad you enjoyed the pics and that they served as inspiration—I’d love to see yours once you’ve taken them :)
