Do you like my creative title? Ye-ah, nobody strained any muscles coming up with that one. So, last week I wrote 3 posts with literally no pictures. I’ll try to make up for it by updating you with tangible/visible progress in slouching toward the altar.

First up, table numbers. It sounds so trite to say that I love reading. I mean, are there people who don’t? Suffice to say: books are a huge part of my life. But…books- or, at least- fiction- are my thing. Pdog only reads non-fiction about neuroscience.

Anyway, giving our wedding some sort of “book” theme would only be true to me, not to us. But still, I’m selfish, so I wanted books in there somewhere. For Christmas, one of my friends gave me the Penguin postcard set. This is what I came up with:

I chose the rest based on 1.) fitting with color scheme and 2.) if I especially liked the book or 3.) if they had something to with us and / or marriage and weddings.

Though the following don’t fit with our colors, I still want to use them somehow. I mean, Mantrap? C’mon. Amazing. I want it on the back of my chair at the reception.

We also received our gorgeous guest book from our photographer, got all our escort cards, and picked up a few fun floral pens which match our invitations.

So there you have it.
