I felt like we had only been waiting in the bridal room for seconds before our DOC walked in and asked if we were ready to go.
Everyone looked at me, anticipating my answer, and I wasn’t quite sure what to say. Of course I was ready to go, but holy cow it came quickly! I definitely could have used a few more minutes to gather myself before walking down the aisle, but there was no time. The guests were waiting—and so was Mr. Cardigan—and it was time to get the ceremony started!

First up were the grandparents, and once they were seated it was time for Mr. Cardy’s parents to walk.

Mom Cardigan was next, and BIL Cardy walked her to her seat on his way to his spot on the stage.

And then, it was the bridal party’s turn. If you like your ceremony posts with a soundtrack, feel free to listen along to what they walked down the aisle to.
My niece, Junior BM Madison, was super nervous to walk down the aisle, but she did an amazing job!

BM Audrey was next…

And then Sister Cardy.

Our ring bearer, Mr. Cardy’s nephew, was very very ready to walk down the aisle. He tried to be the first one out, but we had to hold him back until it was his turn.

Our flower girl, Morgan (my niece), was also very excited to walk down the aisle. She stood right next to me in the bridal room, anxiously awaiting her turn.

Finally, everyone else had gone and she had her moment in the spotlight (the moment she had been looking forward to for over a year!).

All the girls were in their places…

And Mr. Cardigan was ready to see his bride.

The doors at the back of the room were closed, and Daddy Cardigan and I stepped into place for our walk down the aisle.
