I thank my lucky stars to live in such a stunning city that gives me gifts like organic honey lavender ice cream, movie nights in the park, tucked away beaches, legendary record stores, '80s dance parties, awesome sports teams, stellar flea markets, and vintage bookshops. Oh, and I love to dance! We always find every excuse to escape to the beach, and decided a little seaside wedding in Hawaii is our idea of bliss. Full of our favorite people, music, food and sparkly lights, this is one sunset celebration we will always remember.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun...In San Francisco : wedding bachelorette party hawaii 188378 188378_

Yep…that’s me—once again adorned in full bachelorette garb. This time, we were in the City by the Bay—my home—San Francisco.

The Miami trip was AH-MAY-ZING…but it was a trip that I knew only a handful of my most favorite gals could make. So we planned for a silly, food & dance-filled night out in our hometown, at some of my favorite places, a month later so that all my awesome girls could go.

So for all of you Bay Area bees…and brides-to-be who are thinking of having their B-Party weekend in our City by the Bay, here’s a rundown of the spots we hit up for Ostrich Bachelorette Part II. They’re super cute, super fun and reliable for a great night out. :)

DINNER: PLOUF @ BELDEN LANE

*Sigh* Belden Lane is one of those hidden gems in San Francisco that literally takes your breath away when you first stumble upon it. A tiny, narrow brick alley filled with heavenly food and dotted with strings of sparkling lights, this place is pure magic. And Plouf, the land of moules frites and other divine French brasserie food, is equally magical.

We filled our tummies with fries and mussels, drank lots of bubbly, and talked and laughed WAYYY too loud all evening long. It was one of those perfect dinners with your best friends and I had the BEST time.

Sorry, hive, I scarfed down my meal and forgot to take pics. But this is what I ate, with a big bowl of frites on the side…and a kir royale to wash it allll down. YUM

For dessert, the always amazing BM Aimee whipped up these holy-smokes-I-could-eat-ten-of-these choco malt cupcakes…with a lil’ sumpin sumpin on top.

DANCE DANCE REVOLUTION: AMBASSADOR

Allright. So we had food in our bellies and were ready to get our dance on. So we made our way to Ambassador—a stylish lounge that plays ridiculously awesome tunes. You can’t help but bust a move…see??

Yours truly and bestie B dancin’ off to Paperboy’s “Ditty”…wha-whaat?!

We dominated the dance area all night long…showin’ off our crazy moves and singin’ our hearts out to every song…until we SHUT IT DOWN. :)

The last gals standing—half of the group later. :)

The next morning, my body was sore from the all night dance-offs, my voice was gone from all the yelling singing, my head was foggy from the bubbles and ugh—tequila shots, and I had the biggest smile on my face.

Now it’s your turn! Did you have your b-party in your hometown? What were your favorite spots of the night??
