A Lobster Retired

I think I’ve put off this post for long enough.

Hive, it’s been just over a year since I started writing for you. I’m now just eight months into my marriage and it’s time to say goodbye. I leave you with one last photo from our engagement shoot—no props, no makeup/hair stylist, no big veil or dress. Just me, Mr. Lobster, and Buddy.

I’ve had an absolute blast sharing our wedding with you from start to finish.

You’ve been incredibly supportive and your thoughts and opinions have helped me greatly through the stressful but fun wedding planning process! I hope you enjoyed my wedding recaps. Honestly, at first I was reluctant to relive the day but it ended up being therapeutic to go through the day event by event. If you’ve ever thought of starting your own wedding blog and/or applying to be a Weddingbee blogger, give it a shot. I’ve met some incredible people both readers and bloggers in this short amount of time.

To all of you planning brides out there, have fun with it! We all know what the wedding day is really about (love / your partner for life) but it doesn’t hurt to have fun planning the details, does it?

If for some reason you miss me (and I hope you do!), find me over at my new blog Life After Lobster where I try to fill up my time with food and travel and life now that the wedding is over. Say hi, don’t be a stranger. :)

xoxo,

Lobster

Oh Mrs. Lobster, I really loved your wedding and it’s sad to see you go. I wish you lots of happiness in your marriage. I just realized I’m the first non-blogger bee to post ;)
