Mr. PaC and I jetting off to attend our friends’ wedding in Mexico…on Cinco de Mayo! All I can think is gonna be one heck of a celebration!

Initially, I dug my heels deep into the beach sand over the time, expense, and additional stress of traveling less than one month before our wedding.
But you know what? I’m glad Mr. PaC convinced me we should go. At 30 days out, an odd sense of calm has come over me and I find myself looking forward to the downtime, shaking loose of all the wedding stress, and most of all, celebrating with our friends and the newlyweds.

What sacrifices would you make to attend a friend’s destination wedding?
Yay!!! We are about to do the same thing, haha! Thanks for pointing out that it will be Cinco de Mayo! I love destination weddings

Sounds like fun! I have never been to a destination wedding and I am pretty sure I would do anything it takes to go to one!

Ahh, it’s such a good excuse to travel! I’m going to Australia for a friend’s wedding (not a destination wedding, as she is Australian) in just about 6 weeks!!! It’s super expensive and we will be gone for two weeks, but worth it for the vacation in addition to wedding. I’m just glad most people don’t do destination weddings because it would be way too costly after awhile!
I was totally at that resort that day! I just got back Saturday. I saw a ton of wedding groups around then having so much fun and I hope you were one of them.
@Julie: hahaha, we just returned tonight! (Our group was the late afternoon/evening wedding with purple chairs/guys in black tuxes.) Apparently EPM often has 3 weddings a day!
