Well hive, it is time to say goodbye (tear!). It has been two years since these pictures were taken on a perfect day in Montego Bay.

Mr. Quiche and I celebrated our two year wedding anniversary yesterday. It started out like any normal day and was capped off with a lovely dinner at Paris Club, a relatively new spot on the Chicago dining scene. We over-indulged and I have to say that the Creme Brulee and Pistachio Pot de Creme were totally worth it— yum!

It has been 2 1/2 years since I joined the insanely awesome Weddingbee community. In that time, I’ve gotten to know so many of you, just as you’ve gotten to know Mr. Quiche and I (well, if you were reading the ‘Bee way back when!). I haven’t posted in awhile, so “Hello!” to some of the new readers out there. We’ve had a busy couple of years, complete with wonderful vacations, a new dog, new friends and a new business!
Hive, meet Derby. We rescued Derby almost 1 year ago today and I have to say it has been a pretty great year with her in our family. I am not ashamed to say that I am obsessed with this dog and cannot imagine our life without her! I found her through a great local Chicago rescue called Puppy Love Love Cats Pet Rescue.

Words cannot explain how much Weddingbee has meant to me. I have met the most amazing group of women, many of whom I am proud to call my great friends. Here is a little collage of life with some of these wonderful people. I know I will be friends with them for the long haul.

Anyone want to play Spot-A-Bee?
And finally, a new business! Last year I took a leap of faith and decided to start my own interior design business, Bien Living Design. Starting a business can be pretty scary, but I have to say it was absolutely the right decision for me at this point in my life. I keep busy with a number of local Chicago clients, but I also have a service directed towards young people and couples (wink, wink, nudge, nudge!) buying or moving into their first place—Long Distance Design. In short, it is Online Room Design and is a great way to work with an interior designer without breaking the bank.

So, feel free to follow along as I blog (& tweet @bienliving) about life, fashion & interior design. I look forward to hearing from you!
Hive—thank you, thank you, thank you for making these past 2 1/2 years so memorable for me. Cheers!
