Our guestbook is slowly being delivered…one postcard at a time. I was so in love with the idea of a postcard guestbook as you’ll see here and here. It is amazing!
I love reading the different responses. We’ve gotten some really sweet ones and some that made us laugh. Starfish Mom has been sending them to us and we tend to get about 2 postcards per week. I love checking the mail to see if a new one came in. It makes a mundane task like checking the mail super fun and I get to continue to relive our wedding each week in our first year of marriage.
I created about 8 different designs.

We also had different postcard styles for the backing. We wanted to give prompts to inspire guests to leave more personal and unique messages. If people just wanted to leave a message, they could fill out this design:
If they needed some prompts, there were also options like this one:
We had the postcards set up during cocktail hour and we also had one at each place setting so hopefully we will get a note from every guest.
We left a note about what to do and a bunch of pens.

The drop us a line idea was completely inspired by Mrs. Gloss’ adorable note cards for her friend.
We still have five months to go, but we’ve already gotten some repeaters. I think Bridesmaid M filled out one of each design! I absolutely love checking our mail box to see if we have a new postcard. We have many more months to look forward to!
