Hi, I’m Miss Balloons. Nice to meet you! I’m SO super excited to be here as a bee! When I saw the carnival generation come out, I had to apply. I LOVE carnival food! I have to say, I was a little sad when Cotton Candy, Funnel Cake, and Snow Cone were already taken, as they are my all-time favorite carnival foods! The Balloons icon, however, is equally adorable, so I decided to go with that instead.

I have to say, I’m a bit of jumper. I’m fairly certain that I was a bunny in a previous life because when I get excited, I literally jump around in little bunny hops. So what do you think happened when I opened my acceptance email? That’s right…I literally hopped around in excitement. I’m starting to realize why Mr. Balloon’s nickname for me is bunny.

Before I got engaged, I had no idea that such a vast, amazing blog world existed. I knew these things called blogs existed…but I never really knew what they were all about and never cared to look into it or give it much thought. But then, my friends, I became engaged. And that’s when I kicked into full “wedding ideas reasearch mode” and discovered these lovely little things called wedding blogs.

I came across Weddingbee randomly while perusing wedding blogs via Google. I didn’t really get it at first, to be honest. I think it’s because I tend to be an instant-gratification kinda girl and, since I just stumbled upon the site without prior knowledge of the awesomeness of forums and blogs, I didn’t take time at first to understand the neat little monikers or the structure of how the site worked. I actually became addicted to Weddingbee on accident. You see, somehow I accidentally transferred the Weddingbee tab into a button on my browser…so there it was—“Weddingbee boards”—staring at me every time I opened a browser. Out of habit, I made it part of my blog-checking routine to always click on that button as I was going through all my other wedding blogs.
I’m so glad that I did because now I’m officially obsessed! Not only is the site an amazing community, AKA beehive, of support, inspiration, and feedback, it also made me realize how much more organized and on track writing my own blog would make me feel. As many of you know, there are a bajillion details to keep track of when planning a wedding, and I like the idea of having a blog to document the progress, not only for purposes of keeping track of what’s been done, but also to have it to look back on when it’s all said and done. Aaand if it happens to help or even inspire any fellow future brides-to-be along the way, well then that’s an added bonus.
I can’t wait to get to know you all and share my adventures with you!
