Jewelry Lust

Mr. Funnel Cake is currently shaking his head as I lustfully look at the following sparkly things:

Ahh…sigh. I’m on the prowl for the perfect hair accessories again. I’m thinking it would be nice to have some fancy jewelry that I can wear later when we go on dates or out in the evening. So it can’t be toooo flashy, but at the same time I want it to look extra special!

I’m thinking I might send some things from online to my mother in the U.S. It wouldn’t make sense to import them to Switzerland, pay the customs on them, and then take them on the plane to the wedding in the U.S. So I think I might ship a few choices (one or two?) to my mother and then decide when I get there before the wedding which ones really make the cut. I mean, in the end, it doesn’t really matter what I walk down in the aisle in as long as I get to Mr. Funnel Cake. Still, I’m going to be pretty picky about what to really get before I commit to buying.

Going to the U.S. is always an excuse to blow some dough on pretty things for myself. :)

Does anyone else use their wedding as an excuse to indulge themselves sometimes? Anybody else going to decide on their jewelry and hair pieces last minute?

Ooh, I got a Lulusplendor comb! Then I never ended up wearing it. :) But it’s really pretty!

I’m still trying to figure out my jewelry. I ordered a necklace, but I think I may end up going with one I already had. Meh.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Lulusplendor! She is making my jewelry…actually…it has the same Valetta as shown above on the hair pin! <3 Now after seeing this, I may have her make me a comb also or something..I was going to do a tiara, but, how cool would it be to have one made to match my jewelry! Thanks for sharing, I love it!! :)

Tiger Lilly Jewelry has some beautiful combs, pins, etc. I got a comb that had branches and leaves with pearls in it for my wedding 2 years ago and I LOVED it. A little pricey, but I think it’s something you could definitely hand down to a daughter or granddaughter some day!

those all look gorgeous - I don’t know if they were just examples or not, but I ended up buying some of my wedding jewelry from lulusplendor, and it was a great experience, and the jewelry looked just as good in real life, in case you needed that feedback :)
