I recently told you how I’m not very good at flowery language or sentimental speak, and truer words were never spoken, boy. So I don’t have anything that profound to say, but allow me to ramble a bit.
Today, I will marry my best friend in front of the people we love. We’ve spent a year and a half on the venue, the food, the music, the dress, the details. I’ve spent the past few days being bummed about the rainy forecast. But what matters the most is the people. As I sit here in my hotel room, drinking my mimosa and waiting for my wedding-day entourage to arrive, I’m so thankful for Mr. S, our families and our friends that I feel like I may burst.
And I’m thankful for you, hive. It’s been a wild ride, and I’ve loved sharing every moment of it with you, getting your support and your advice. You’ve made the journey a great one.
But we’re just getting started. And I’ll see you on the other side!
