Showcasing Our DIY Efforts

May 18th, 2011 @ 9:13 am by Mrs. Elephant

With all of the work put into our DIY projects, I knew I wanted a way to remember them after the wedding. After reading Mrs. Seashell’s post on framing her invite, it spawned the perfect idea!

Showcasing Our DIY Efforts : wedding dallas invitations save the date stationery Dsc0568 DSC0568

I found a shadow box at Michaels and put in some of our favorite DIY projects including our save the dates, our invite, our passport program and our boarding pass escort card. I love being able to see the collection of projects all in one spot, and thinking back on the teamwork it took to create them all for our wedding.

Since Mama E has been saving all of the DIY projects as well, I thought it would be sweet to make a version for her and Daddy E as well, which I gave to them at our rehearsal dinner.

Will you showcase any of your paper projects after the wedding?

LOVE this, E. we’ll be framing up our fingerprint tree and i think the rest of the diy goodness will go in a scrapbook of some sort – still need to figure that one out. :)

Thanks everyone!!

@Crown: Right now it’s on the only wall that we had space in our 2 bedroom apartment. I will definitely find a perfect space for it once we move into our first house!
