The wedding, it’s a-comin’! And we are gathering all those last little details together.
- Cinnamon Buns and I went to a local book sale to get some more decor (and
one a fewsome books to actually read too!):
We went looking for blues/greens plus gorgeous old vintage books of any colour.
- We’ve decided to not have snackies before the ceremony, but have water and lemonade available. We checked with the caterer about him setting all this up—the cost was a little rich for just having some water out, so we ordered two of these from Classic Hostess:
Appropriate, no? We’ll get some nice clear plastic cups and call that done. Plus, we can use them for sangria the next day!
- I ordered some cute thank you notes on Etsy with our initials on:
By Silhouette Blue (we ordered the Peacock Blue colour, and requested that the & be replaced with the heart we’ve used on other paper products)
- I fell down the rabbit hole and ordered some striped paper straws for the reception:

- And a larger detail…we bought Cinnamon Buns a new pair of glasses that don’t have transition lenses, so he won’t be wearing shades all through the wedding photos.
- Mum is making us bunting for the balcony out of apple-green ribbon and old book pages. I think she was happy to be given a task she could do from far away!
It’s been a great feeling to go from feeling like nothing will get finished evarrrrr to check, check, checking things off the list.
