I used to have lovely white teeth! A little cavity prone, yes, but they were fairly white. All that changed when we moved to the UK—I don’t know what it was, or how it happened, but after a few years of living abroad, my smile is a lot yellower than it was before.
I’m not one for expensive beauty treatments, but I have used Crest Whitestrips in the past with good effects, except now I faced one small problem: they don’t stock them in Australia. Since I knew I wouldn’t have the time or moolah to get a fancy dentist whitening, I invested in some everyday whitening toothpaste and my very own Aussie based tooth whitening 5-day system. The ones I chose were from Clever White, who advertised at up to seven shades lighter … in five days.
Five days have come and gone, and I decided to document the process though it all . Tell me what you think? (Please excuse the non-made-up/end-of-teaching-day face.)
I noticed a bit of a difference, but nothing super spectacular. Here was the final shot, after five days of half-hour gel tray-treatment.

I reckon it might’ve lightened them a shade or two. I guess I’ll keep going with the whitening toothpaste and see if it helps, but at least I’ve done my part to make a difference pre-wedding-day.
Did you go on a teeth whitening adventure of your own? How’d it work for you?
