So, before we go any further, I have to introduce my engagement ring to the hive. I absolutely love my ring (I should—I picked it out), and we’ve been BFFs since Mr. Pony gave her to me. (And yes, my ring is female.)

So, without further ado, my engagement ring, Savannah (yes, I am the crazy lady that names inanimate objects):

She’s got an oval-cut center stone perched on the thinnest band I could find. I think she has a look that is classic and won’t look outdated in 30 years, but is still modern and pretty (but I am slightly biased).

Clearly, I’m smitten with this little lady. In fact, I love her so much, her oval shape has influenced some of our decor decisions. So much so that I’ve been referring to it as an oval theme, despite telling you we don’t have a theme. I like to contradict myself. Whatever.
