Mrs. Cardigan's Picture
Mrs. Cardigan, Austin Age and Occupation: 21, Student/Soon-to-be Special Education Teacher Fiance's Age and Occupation: 20, Student/Soon-to-be Accounting Systems Analyst Engagement Date: August 16, 2009 Wedding Date: January 2011 Venue: Vintage Villas About Me: I'm a native Austinite who was raised as a die-hard Aggie. Luckily, I'm a pretty persuasive girl because I managed to convince my high school boyfriend (now fiance!), Mr. Cardigan, to ditch his hardcore Longhorn ways and join me up at A&M, where we currently reside with our adorable dogs, Cullen & Ranger. We're currently planning a bright, cheery wedding with a ridiculous amount of DIY projects that I can't wait to tackle! I love crafting in any form, reading, and margaritas (I think I love them the most!). Organization is what keeps me sane and I love helping others, which is probably why I ended up as an education major. It gets a little chaotic sometimes when you're planning a wedding among all of the papers, projects, finals, and certification exams, but we're having the time of our lives and we can't wait to get started on our journey as husband and wife - and we're so excited to share our wedding with the hive!
About Mrs. Cardigan

I’ll admit, I was concerned about our photo booth. I worried that it would be in the way, I worried that our guests wouldn’t be interested, and I just worried all around about the photos that we’d get (or maybe I should say lack of photos?)

However, I am so, so, so glad we did it. Our photo booth photos are some of our favorites from the day, and when we’re looking through them it’s clear that our guests loved participating in it.

As much time as I spent dancing (which was a lot) I spent a ton of time in the photo booth. I wanted to be sure I had photos with everyone I could possibly get photos with, and I’m so glad that I made sure to spend a lot of time there, because I really cherish the photos that we have.

These photos don’t need a lot of narration, so let’s just get to it!

Great pictures! I love the frames!
We are planning on having a booth. In fact, my fiance has taken on the task of designing and making the photobooth for our wedding. He has been working on it all year, and it will be ready to be tested at my shower on Sunday! I’m hoping it works out, because he has put a lot of effort into his photobooth!

I’m doing a photobooth and one of the things I’m scared about is that they wouldn’t show up and all my plans would be for naught… I don’t know why :( You guys look like you had a lot of fun fun fun. And I spy a pair of socks ;)

@ Miss Bunting, I’m pretty sure that oval frame is from Ikea of all places, we bought the same one for our wedding, its around $40 I think (or at least here in canada). I love it too!

Having a photo booth is the one thing I wish we would have budgeted for. Out professional pics are nice, but nothing like the fun ones you get from a booth. brides to be I hope you can factor this into your budget somehow!! xo

Ahh love all of the photos with Socks and your flower girls are ad.or.able!!!! I’m so glad to see how well this worked out. I recently asked another bee how theirs worked because my main concern is that someone will knock over the tripod. Did you have any legistical problems or did you have someone their to man it to make sure things ran smoothly?
