I don’t even know if I can explain fully my love for vintage birds. It is a delicate balance for me between having a little subtle antique bird here and there throughout the wedding, and completely drowning the place in them (which I would do if that wouldn’t look totally crazy).

It probably has something to do with the real lovebird, which is actually a small breed of parrot:

OMG - I love that episode of Family Guy!! LOL - we sing this all the time because of it too. Also, I love your birds.

I love the japenese drawings of birds (similair to you 3rd pic)and they are all just so pretty!
And the family guy episode-yup my FI drives me mental with that one too,asking “honey,have you heard?” and I fall for it every time!lol

That episode of Family Guy is MY FAVORITE. Mr CA and I will spontaneously break out into that song. LOVE IT.

Also, those antique prints are amaze-balls. I love them! I am using a bird cage for the cards, but am not incorporating the bird “theme”

Augh! The second I read your title I got that Family Guy song stuck in my head! *cries forever*

And those vintage birds are too cute! I swear I liked birds “before they were cool” (ha) but FI is not a fan so they’re not going to be in our wedding. Sadness.
