Crafts on a Stick Day!

June 13th, 2011 @ 8:41 am by Ms. Gazelle

This weekend it was time to knock off a few items on my to-do list. If it was a craft on a stick, it was on the list of things to accomplish!

First up, ribbon wands for our recessional!

I went for gauzy purple and silver ribbon for our ribbon wands.

I think these should look really neat as our guests wave these while we recess down the aisle.

Next up, moustaches and lips on a stick for our photobooth.

And finally, something for our flower girl! Rather than having her carry flowers I decided to make a flag for her to announce, “Here comes the bride!” I made it out of black felt, sparkly letter stickers I picked up from Michaels, and a long dowel.

I used two layers of felt, glued together around the dowel to create the flag. I stuck the letters on with Fabri-Tac to make sure they would stay put.

I think she is going to get a kick out of waving the flag as she walks down the aisle.

Your flag is very unique. Love it. I also did my mustaches this weekend. Great minds think alike. BTW, I was jogging in the park this morning and saw a lady that looked like you and thought to myself ‘Dang, I wonder if Mrs. G decided to visit NYC ahead of time’ :)
