About Mrs. Penguin

Hive member Usuki asked us on the boards this weekend if our Real Weddings feature had died. It hasn’t! We’d love to feature your real wedding, and if you had a particularly fun and stylish wedding that you’d like to share with the hive, check out our submission page and share it with us!

Is the Real Weddings Feature Dead? : wedding announcements features Untitled 2 Untitled-2

On a personal note, I’d like to take a minute to be candid: I am very much at my max right now. There are so many features like Real Weddings, and a few that we’ve had floating around as ideas that we’d love to implement and keep moving and it almost pains me that we don’t have more of our fabulous features running on a more regular basis. Real Wedding features alone often take one-and-a-half to two hours to put together, and with Weddingbee publishing frequently from 8AM to 7PM EST five days a week (and throughout the days on the weekends, too!), I often can’t edit posts like these unless I take a Saturday or Sunday to do so. Mrs. Mouse has been a huge lifesaver, but because she currently has a full time job, she’s—you guessed it—extremely maxed out at the moment as well. Her job situation may be changing in the (VERY!) near future and with it, we hope to snag more hours out of her day to move the blog upwards and give the hive what it deserves—more awesome features and much, much more love.

Until then, please don’t hesitate to share your new ideas in the ideas section and your real weddings with us via email. I am reading each and every one, and would love to feature them as soon as we find a little breathing room here from the editing desks at Weddingbee! xo

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone at Weddingbee for doing such a phenomenal job of keeping this site up and running. I check this site multiple times a day, nearly every day, and I can’t even imagine how much work it must take to keep everything going. Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing new features (and hopefully the return of Real Weddings) soon!

I read the site regularly. I love weddings, and even though I am nowhere near marriage (all the single ladies?), I love reading about everything on here.

I might go into event planning in the future, and so this is a great place for me to read.

This may be a strange question, but say I was interested in helping. Do you hire people? Is this a volunteer sort of position? I don’t really know too much about the hierarchy, but seeing this, even getting some experience on a wedding website might be beneficial for where I am going in the future.

Daily reader here. I love this site and appreciate all of the maneuvering and editing that must be taking place behind the scenes in order to keep these posts rolling.

Thank you and everyone for all the hard work you all do!!

This is THE best wedding site there is. I love it, and I’m not even engaged yet (it’s comin’ soon!). The inspiration here is so amazing, I have my save the dates and invitations and many other details done already! Yay for Wedding Bee!
