(Yes, I love Gaga and yes I have been slacking on my recaps, *hangs head in shame*. Is anyone still interested? I hope so! If you would like to catch up on my previous recaps please do so here!)
Mr. Cloud had one request for our wedding that never, ever changed. He wanted one bad ass party. Our family and friends know how to have a good time, so I was pretty sure his request would be granted even if we had the wedding in a cardboard box, but let me tell you, our pals did not disappoint.

We danced like it was a regular Friday night at the club and we weren’t in formal attire. I was so glad I had the foresight to get myself a pair of flats for dancing shoes. Especially when it came time for the Soul Train line. Apparently we take Soul Train lines very seriously around here.

Out of everyone, there is no doubt who stole the show. These little guys, my darling cousins, busted more moves than anyone else, and everyone had a new move to teach them. Robots, lawn mowers, sprinklers, you know, the normal stuff. Ha!

They were also the only “kids” invited, despite our original no kid rule (we decided cousins were the obvious exception). Being in the preteens they might be offended by that statement but it worked in their favor. They didn’t have to interrupt their dancing with trips to the bar like everyone else!

Dance party 2009 would not have been possible without our amazing DJ, Eric Cunningman from Choice Entertainment. I know my friends (and by “my friends” I fully include myself), and after a few drinky drinks we like to request ten million songs from the DJ. Not only did Eric keep up and not get annoyed, but he blew us all away (including my very picky DJ of a husband).
In the middle of all this dancing we managed to stop and take once very special picture…

BEES!! I was absolutely honored that Mrs. Cupcake, Mrs. Tiramisu, and Mrs. (AND MR!!) D’orsay all made the trip down! Mama Cloud was super excited that they were coming as well, especially after I told her all about how much fun we had at the D’orsay wedding the previous summer. Word on the street is that she scoped out their table in advance so she knew where they would be, and then when making her rounds exclaimed “I’M MAMA CLOUD!!” when she finally saw them! These three ladies were not only huge inspirations to me during planning, but were also a big reason I wanted to blog here to begin with. Love them!
Do you plan on having an all out dance party at you wedding? Or are you expecting any pals from afar to buzz in? (Oh yes, I crack myself up!!)
