We wanted something upbeat to walk into the reception to and I sure do love me some Aerosmith, so Walk This Way was an easy choice. Our wedding party strutted their stuff into the reception and we quickly followed behind them and took our place on the dance floor for our first dance.

We chose to dance to “I Found Love” by Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band. Feel free to listen while you look at the pictures. (This is a cover as I couldn’t find the actual version online. Close enough.)

We opted not to do a choreographed dance. It just wasn’t for us. It was perfect!

We only hit one little snag—literally. My dress got caught on a nail that was sticking up out of the wood dance floor ever so slightly. I quickly yanked my dress off said nail, and the crisis was averted. And with that, we invited our wedding party out on to the dance floor to help us finish up the song.

And then it was over. It was the best first dance ever! (In my book, anyways.)
