Mrs. Seal's Picture
Mrs. Seal, San Francisco Age and Occupation: 25, Personal Assistant Fiance's Age and Occupation: 29, Sales and Support Specialist Engagement Date: December 12, 2009 Wedding Date: November 2011 Venue: Sts Peter and Paul Church/The Bently Reserve About Me: I am a goofy, wannabe crafty, well-intentioned Renaissance Woman (OK, perhaps "aimless wanderer" is a more aptly suited term for me, but hopefully you get the point)—basically I dabble in just about everything and pride myself in such. Without warning, I occasionally breakout into soulful improvised songs and interpretive dances and there's just no stopping me! As so many others before me, planning our wedding has unearthed a deep, intense passion for all things bridal and I secretly fear the day it will come to an end. Mr. Seal and I are quite the pair and life with him by my side is extremely rewarding—I am so thankful to have found him. Together we are planning a black-tie San Francisco affair for 250—light on the stuffiness and with lots of extra Seal-y flair.
About Mrs. Seal

Eeep! So just when I began to suffer from “OMG I want to send out our invitations right now” syndrome, I received something in the mail to help hold me over until September.

Remember a couple of weeks back when Mr. Seal and I invited Mickey and Minnie and the Obamas? Well, just the other day we got this:

Mickey and Minnie Get It Right: a VIP Invite Update : wedding invitations san francisco Img 148 IMG_148

After hearing of Miss Mac’s smudged Disneyland keepsake and the Mouses’ misspelling of Mrs. Lioness’s name, I was a bit apprehensive to tear this bad boy open. Given that I have two first names, I was fairly certain something would have gone awry.

Luckily, I was totally wrong:

Mickey and Minnie got it right!

And it’s totally gettin’ framed and put next to one of these dorky pics:

Now we’re just waiting on the Obamas!

Have any of you heard back from your VIPs?! Are any of you anxiously waiting to send out your invites?

Man oh man, I found out about inviting VIPs about 1 month after all my invitations went out. I know, what’s the deal?! I would have LOVED a Minnie and Mickey signed photo…

This is so awesome! We invited Mickey and Minnie too but we are in the middle of a STUPID MAIL STRIKE!!!! in Canada. :( I so hope it’s not floating around somewhere in the mail. But on the other hand, I hope they send me something!

I’m not going to lie; Minnie & Mickey are my most-desired VIPs. I am really excited at the prospect of getting some wedding love from them :)

That’s so funny! I have never heard about inviting these VIPs. I have a couple of VIPs of my own, my actor cousin (kinda famous) and his beautiful and talented grammy nominated singer girlfriend. I’m pretty sure they’re both a yes!

So sweet! I was starting to doubt Mickey & Minnie’s signing abilities after the other bees’ posts. :)

Besides the Obamas and British royalty, we’re also inviting the Mythbusters build crew, Lonely Island and the Top Gear presenters. What can I say? We’re geeks.

Yay! We got things back from the President, and Mickey & Minnie in Florida and California. I was so bad on wanting to send out the invites, that we sent them a couple weeks early because I couldn’t hold onto it anymore.

So exciting! I squealed when I saw this because we got ours yesterday! I was kinda worried because of the way it was crammed in our mailbox but it’s perfect. I already have ours framed and now we’re just waiting on the Obamas….

Yay! How fun is that?! It’s going to look great with those pictures. (And have I mentioned how jealous I am that your invites are finished? Seriously, that’s AWEsome.) Hope we can get ours done in time to mail them out to some VIP’s. You inspire me, lady!

I never thought to send one out to famous couples… But oddly enough we did get a congrats from the Obamas (maybe via my MIL’s DC connections) the same day we got a cross country “Hogs and Kisses” post card from my baby sister. I was so excited for the pig covered post card that hubs had to point out the envelope from the white house. ;)
