Mrs. Jaguar's Picture
Mrs. Jaguar, Sydney Age and Occupation: 27, Primary School Teacher Fiance's Age and Occupation: 29, IT Consultant Engagement Date: August 8, 2009 Wedding Date: June 2011 Venue: Curzon Hall About Me: I'm an Australian girl who is a self-proclaimed nerd, loves all things stationery and would be lost without books, music and the internet. Mr. Jaguar and I have been together for the past eight years and he finally popped the question last August. Hurrah! We currently live in Sydney, Australia with our adorable cat who thinks he's a person. We're a couple who likes to multi-task: we've been planning a wedding abroad, a permanent move from London to Sydney, and preparing to build our own home all at the same time. Travelling makes me giddy...as does Mr. Jaguar, of course!
About Mrs. Jaguar

AAAAAAAAAAH!!

So it’s been a mere 10 days since our wedding, and our super amazing videographer Amy Nelson-Blaine {Wedding Cinematography} has already created a snapshot of our wedding day on film. I’m so excited about it, because it makes the wait for seeing our pictures go by quicker, and it also lets my friends (especially my online ones, aka YOU GUYS) get a bit of an inside scoop on how the Jaguar wedding went down.

Film highlights? Oh yeah, there are plenty:

  • There’s me. Pulling every stupid face known under the sun. Really—I’m not kidding. I didn’t count but there are so many tragic expressions in there, it’s not funny. Apparently my friends weren’t joking when they told me that I put everything I’m thinking into my face. Hilarious!
  • Mr. Jaguar whispering his wedding vows—thankfully you can hear him in the video!
  • The best Maid of Honour speech in the history of Maid of Honour speeches. Watch them. You’ll cry. I know I did (on the night AND today while watching it.).
  • Some pretty freaking amazing dance moves (and one slightly tipsy uncle) on the dance floor
  • My super awesomely hot husband. Swoon.

So here it is…

Leave some comment love, if you’re so inclined. But most of all, ENJOY!

Brilliant, awesome, wonderful, beautiful! And every other expressive word you can think of. I didn’t see a single stupid face, just gorgeous and happy ones.

@Rachel: Thank you so much - I adored our little church. I’m sad we didn’t get to spend much time there after our ceremony as it started BUCKETING down with rain!

@stephalina6: That is the sweetest thing - I cried like a girl when I saw it. But so did my MOH, so that’s a good thing. Not just me! ;)

@tocarat: Definitely! I wasn’t going to do it because we just couldn’t budget for it, but a few lucky stars came our way and it was just the best decision.

@EJeets10: The sparklers were AMAZING !!! :D

@Miss Seal: Thank you so much - the dress is beautiful but I can’t get over the face pulling!!

@Eb: Thank you! The bolero is a Palomo Blanca one - it’s from last year, but I’m sure they’ll do a similar one each year. It totally MADE the dress for me.

@Miss Snow Cone: Thanks, Miss SC. I can’t stop watching it! :)

Love it! Love the dress, love the bolero, love the bracelet! And I dont think you made dumb faces at all– they were genuine! My fav was when you came in to be announced… great face! Also… the sparklers? Awesome! And p.s. the way to not get tangled up with the glass thingy is to use the same arm (both right or both left, rather than him using his right and you your left) :)

@CorgiTales: I wish somebody had told us how to do that - I didn’t even THINK of having a practice run. I ended up sipping it and kind of doing a limbo-move to drink it, haha. Thanks for the kind words!!!
