The last of my wedding party have no guilt associated with them.

Of my remaining bridesmaids, I met Bridesmaid N (AKA Rifle) the most recently. We were roommates for two years when I was in college. (We met sophomore year.)

Friends forever!

She is fun, loud, quirky, and to be honest, a complete attention whore. (Don’t worry, she knows.) She was really there for me when I broke up with my ex, for which I am eternally grateful. Also, it was her party where Mr. Cannon and I got together, another thing for which I am eternally grateful. She was introduced to me by Bridesmaid K (AKA Machine Gun).

Me & Shotgun—We’re lame!

I’ve known Machine Gun and Bridesmaid L (AKA Shotgun) about the same amount of time. In sixth grade, Shotgun and I had math class together. We became friends, but weren’t really close until sophomore year of high school. At that point, we became best friends and did a lot of stupid things and had many misadventures together. After we graduated, I went to school in Toledo, and not long after Shotgun moved to Chicago. We’ve remained close despite the distance, and I still consider her one of my best friends even though we don’t see each other very often.

Machine Gun

Machine Gun and I also date back to sixth grade. It’s crazy to think how much we’ve changed and how much we’ve stayed the same. I think that she’s accomplished a lot of the coolness that she always wanted when we were dorky kids. (That’s why I’m too nice to post a dorky pic of us from back in the day and will let you think she’s always looked so stylish!) But she’s still a nerd at heart, and that’s truly my favorite thing about her.

The final member of my bridal party is Cherry Bomb. She’s my precious flower girl and favorite little wonder on the planet. Isn’t she the cutest thing on two legs? I know, I’m a little biased. But, past her cuteness, I do have a concern. I’m worried that she will talk through the whole ceremony. She is a BIG babbler, and she never stops—unless her mouth is full. So, I’m hoping a steady stream of crackers will help us make it through the wedding without interruption.
