Hive, I have oodles and mountains of exciting news for you. First and foremost…

I got MARRIED. (Insert screams and maniacal laughter that can be heard ’round the world.)

Our June 11 wedding was beautiful and stressful and chilly (albeit rain-free) and already feels like it was a thousand years ago. Believe everyone when they tell you the day will fly by, but don’t believe them when they tell you how sad you’ll be when it’s over. Between you and me, here’s a little secret: I am SO FREAKING GLAD it’s over. So is my new husband, our families, friends, pets, everyone we’ve ever met, etc.

Our ceremony was the best part for a billion lovely reasons, and I could have gone home completely happy and fulfilled without even having the reception that followed. Mr. Jam absolutely killed his vows (see above photo & thank God I spent the last year collecting vintage hankies) and I was completely surprised by our very favorite song perfectly played by three of my uncles as I walked down the aisle. I literally scream-cried my way into Mr. Jam’s arms.

The wedding ceremony was filled with so many sweet moments, I could honestly self-combust just remembering them.

Our photographers were more than just a joy to work with…their warm presence only added to the beauty of the day. I’m beyond thrilled to see the rest of their happy pictures and start recaps the minute I get the disc into my hot little hands.

And I’m pretty sure I have so many more things to spill my guts about, from our budget breakdown to adventures in pulling DIY all-nighters during the wedding week to having raging fits for no good reason because of the lack of sleep. Let me reiterate: I am SO GLAD it’s all over, and I have so much wedding dirt to dish out.

Good luck to all the soon-to-be-married couples out there and billions of congratulations to those of us who have recently tied the knot. It’s a ton of work, right? But it feels SO good here on the other side.
