Hairy Situation: Take 2

July 7th, 2011 @ 5:18 pm by Mrs. Macarons

If you recall, I went ahead and booked a hair trial even though I was on the fence about my inspiration. I chose Cari from Kyle Lynn because she a ton of positive feedback and her pricing was much more reasonable than anyone else’s.

Despite Sassy’s reassurance I wasn’t looking forward to it at all; I even postponed it a few times with the hopes I’d find another inspiration. As each day passed the more stressed I became. A week before my trial I finally struck gold.

I’m not sure what you’d call it, but this low bun/ponytail hybrid was it. It had the movement I was hoping for all while having enough staying power to hold up throughout the night. For the first time I could finally picture me in her shoes.

What do you think hive? How long did it take you to find a style that just felt right?

Ohmygosh - that is beaytiful! I have been putting off my hair trial for the same reason… I haven’t found anything yet that has stuck out to me and said “Do your hair like THIS!”

(except maybe this one…I might borrow it!)

I know what it feels like to struggle for hair inspiration. I have locs and there are not even close to enough pictures on the internet with natural hair brides. But I hope to strike gold just as you did. It took all my willpower not to jump ahead to the post that shows what this looked like on you.
