While I was hanging out with the ladies, getting ready and having photos taken, King Hippo and his guys were doing much of the same… although it took them a minute and a half (give or take) to get ready. Totally not fair. Each of the guys wore matching navy blue ties and navy and yellow argyle socks that we gifted them along with their own black suits.

(Disclaimer: King Hippo thinks he looks horrible in all of these pictures, but I think he looks adorable, so I’m blogging them. Carry on.)

All the flowers for the wedding had been delivered to the suite the ladies were getting ready in, so one of the bridesmaids delivered the boutonnières to the guys’ suite. Little did I know, it quickly became a stressful situation. I love the looks on the guys faces as they attempt to help each other with the boutonnières. Such concentration!

As soon as the guys were dressed, they headed down to the hotel lobby to shoot some pics of their own. King Hippo took some solo photos, followed by him with his groomsmen both inside and outside the hotel. There were, of course, some shenanigans along the way.

With all the pre-wedding photos taken care of, it was time to head to the ceremony.
