I finally had the trial I had been putting off and I’m back to show you the results.

You can always tell how happy I am by the amount of sass in my photos.
Cari’s approach was completely different than my first makeup artist’s. She sort of applied it in stages, letting me check and see if I wanted more. The foundation was perfect, she evened me out while still letting my skin show. The individual lashes were great; I know they’re a little more time consuming but the effect is far more natural and what I’m accustomed to. Mr. Macs didn’t want me to change a thing, but on the big day I’m going to have her define my eyes a little more and go a little heavier on the blush since the flash really washes it out.
As far as the hair I think we’re close. I didn’t have my inspiration photo on hand so Cari tried to do it from memory and based on how I described it. On the big day she’ll vary the thickness and size of the curls in the back and she’ll gather it in more defined sections in the front.
Seeing both hair and makeup together really helped. I’m confident she’ll nail it September.
