I have actually done quite a few DIYs, but most of them I want to wait to show until it gets a little closer to the wedding or when they are finished. (For example, the invitations and programs are designed but not printed out yet.) I did manage to finish a small DIY this morning and wanted to share it. It honestly isn’t anything much, but I thought it was cute.
I bought a plain wooden sign from Dollar Tree like this:

And I had already ordered fabric paint to do my aisle runner and decided that it should hopefully work for wood, too. I highly recommend it; it’s pretty cheap and it works great on the different surface types I have used it on so far.

I bought it in #113 Navy Blue and #116 Apple Green.
This is going on the table where the guestbook pages will be laid out and the card box and the presents will be. (It’s a really long table.) The linens will be white for this table, so I wanted to figure out how to use my colors and make it pop. So the sign is navy blue with an apple green highlight. I am really happy with how it turned out:

This is just the beginning of all of the DIY, since about 80% of the wedding is DIY projects. So be on the lookout for many more! I just wanted to show off this little one and give you a taste of what’s to come!
What are your favorite little DIYs you have done so far?
