Blurb is hosting an international juried competition celebrating the most creative, innovative, and finest self-published photography books-and the people behind them. Blurb’s Photography Book Now! Contest is open to working photographers, students &creative enthusiasts, and is judged in four categories: Fine Art, Documentary, Travel, and Student. The grand prize is $25,000 (USD)!

The 2011 contest is up and running with less than a week left! You can enter your self-published photography book in any of the four categories for review by the panel of expert judges. Got a beautiful honeymoon album? Enter it in the Travel category! What about a unique album of wedding photography? You could enter it in the Student category, or possibly even Documentary.

You can enter as many books as you’d like in any of the categories—but you must pay a separate non-refundable submission fee for each entry.

How To Enter:

If you’ve created your book through Blurb, you can submit your entry online. If you still need to make your book, you can get started today. Blurb offers a range of bookmaking tools to help you create your book. Try Blurb Bookify™ online, download Blurb BookSmart® for more creative control, or go with Blurb’s PDF to Book workflow, using a page-layout application like Adobe® InDesign® to create PDF/X-3 compliant files.

If you have already produced your self-published photography book, you are welcome to enter by hard-copy submission. To submit your entry, download and fill out the hard-copy, self-published photography book submission form. Send the completed entry form along with one hard copy of your book for judging purposes. Hard-copy entries must be postmarked no later than Thursday, July 14, 2011.
