I know I introduced them before, but I wanted to give you a more formal introduction. Meet my fur daughters, Smudge and Kelly. Smudge is the poofy black and white one. She was named because of the random black spots on her white patches. She is a diva. She likes people, she like to investigate the goings on of the house, and she has an attitude problem.

(Photos are personal)
Kelly is my spunky Calico. Her full name is actually Kelly Clarkson. And before you ask:

Yes, I named my cat after the part in The 40-Year-Old Virgin where he gets waxed and yells “Ahhhh KELLY CLARKSON!!!” at the top of his lungs. I was hoping to be able to yell at my cat like that, too, but it just never happened because she is the calmest, most docile, skittish, and well-behaved cat I have ever had. She also prefers fruits and vegetables over meat. She’s weird.
As you can tell, I love my furbabies. I celebrate their birthdays, I get them Christmas presents…yes, I am one of those crazy pet moms. So when it came to the wedding, I knew that there had to be a way to incorporate them. Obviously, them being cats, they couldn’t be honorary ring bearers. Smudge would just plop down in the middle of the aisle and refuse to move, and Kelly would disappear and hide under something. So I am going to have to be creative in how I make sure that my cats are incorporated into our wedding.
One way I hope to incorporate them is by adding a charm onto my bouquet with a picture of them. I am hoping to get something like this:

This one is from the Etsy store PoPkO. It’s really simple and sweet.

I like the little beads hanging off—a chance to incorporate special colors or your wedding colors. This one is from the Etsy shop DesignedToCharm.

This one is my favorite! I like that you can customize the bow color and the way that it dangles! I really love the pear-shaped photo frame! This one is from the Etsy shop Your Charmed Wedding.
Another way that I am wanting to incorporate the kittens is with a cake topper. Can you imagine my precious girls sitting on top of a little cake? Oh, it will be perfection! I have a few picked out, but I am waiting on Mr. D to also pick one and give the OK to order it. Here are a few that I liked:

These adorable little handcarved kitties are from the Etsy shop Pokeberry Patch. I think they would look so sweet sitting among some flowers on the top of a cake.

I adore these handpainted cats. They are so sweet and really capture the appearance of the kitty that you want to show. You can get these from My Custom Cake Topper.

I really like these ones because I think the kitties are so cute and fun! These can also be custom made to look like your kitty. I am hoping these are the ones that Mr. D will also choose! If you are interested in these, you can find them at the Etsy shop ItsyBitsyCritters. (Can you tell my love of Etsy?)
I also will be incorporating my cats into my actual attire, but how I do this will have to remain a secret for now. But I promise you that you will know soon enough! It will be worth the wait!
For those of you with pets near and dear to your hearts, how are you making sure that they show up on your big day?
