Mrs. Macarons's Picture
Mrs. Macarons, Tampa Age and Occupation: 26, Graphic Designer Fiance's Age and Occupation: 34, Renaissance Man Engagement Date: September 12, 2009 Wedding Date: September 2011 Venue: Lange Farm About Me: I'm creative at heart and a graphic designer with an unhealthy obsession with type. I love roller coasters, spicy foods, and a good glass of Crianza. We’re planning a soft and lovely vintage-meets-modern wedding in a state that’s known for its beaches, glitz and glam. I have a ton of DIY projects and lots of little details I’m dying to share and can't wait to celebrate with our closest friends and family.
About Mrs. Macarons

I’d like to think that most of my wedding purchases have been quite methodical, but every once in a while I get a wild hair and throw caution into the wind.

The cost:size ratio of my most recent purchase was a bit absurd but totally worth it in my opinion. Since macaron favors were quickly ruled out I wanted to find another way to include my moniker on our wedding day. Thanks to Mrs. Pain Au Chocolat, I discovered a multitude of miniatures on Etsy.

Aren’t they freakin’ cute?! I originally thought I’d attach them to my garter but after seeing them in person they might be a bit too delicate for that. Any thoughts on a more secure location?

Maybe somewhere in your bouquet?

Adooooorable! Like Miss Doily suggested, you could attach them to your bouquet. It’s a pretty safe place, as long as people know not to throw out the bouquet at the end of the wedding (seriously).

OMG, so hungry now! Isn’t receiving tiny, but inedible “food” in the mail fun? Only thing better would be real, tiny food.

I would suggest bouquet. Pretty safe location and you can show them off to everyone without pulling up your dress. ;)

Yaaaaaa these are adorable! The colors are PERFECT! I think the bouquet would be a lovely place for them, or maybe as a charm bracelet?

@Miss Pony: I love the idea of having them as “buttons”!
@Mrs. Tartlet: I’m not a big fan of charm bracelets but I totally plan on wearing them as a necklace after the wedding.
