Kauai - What to Do
After five days of Maui bliss, the Snapdragons will take a short flight over to the island of Kauai. The couple can head over to Ha’ena State Park to Ke’e beach, a crystal blue cove filled with tropical fish and sea turtles, and tons of caves to explore…

The Kilauea Point National Wildlife Refuge is a popular spot to observe the native wildlife in their native habitat, or watch the ocean waves crash on the shore with a historic cliff-side lighthouse against the clear blue sky…

The Snapdragons can head over to the Secret Beach and Lava Pools and discover a hidden beach that only the locals know about…

Kauai is famous for its lush green forests and nature, this is the perfect setting for the couple to experience some of the island’s natural beauty on the Kalalau Trail, or explore the island by a backcountry tubing down Kauai’s natural rivers.

Kauai - Where to Eat
Fresh Hawaiian food is the key to Kauai cuisine, and there are lots of delicious restaurants on the island ranging from $15 to $80 for a meal for two. The Snapdragons can grab some Korean chicken and hearty beef stew at Mark’s place on their way out to a hike. A sampling of ahi poke and lau lau at Pono Market would make for a heavenly lunch on the ocean shore…

Koloa Fish Market is the perfect place to pick up a Poke Bento to enjoy during a snorkeling break on Poipu Beach…

For a fancy evening out, the Snapdragons can head over to the award-winning Merriman’s restaurant to sample their sustainable Hawaiian cuisine…

Kauai - Where to Stay
With lush green surroundings and bright blue ocean coasts, it is practically mandatory to book a honeymoon cottage in the island’s natural surroundings. This spacious Koloa house is only a block away from the white sands of Poipu Beach and has a kitchen where you can prepare a picnic lunch, and a hot tub to wind down at night.

This charming cottage is tucked into a small forest with a view of the Hanalei Mountains, a claw-foot tub, and horses grazing in a pasture…

The couple might enjoy this “Twin Hearts” handcrafted honeymoon cottage on Kauai’s north shore. Or perhaps they would like to stay right smack dab on the beach in an Ocean Front Condominium with unparalleled ocean views and designer furniture…

Budget Breakdown
$6,000 - Total Budget
I had a lot of fun incorporating the Snapdragon’s personal style and taste into their Hawaiian honeymoon! How are you adding personal style to your honeymoon?
