Mr. Ticket and I are big fans of the self-portrait. I would say a good 75% of the pictures in existence of us are in fact self-portraits.

We are big fans of eating out (not healthy usually, we know, but incredibly yummy).

During our early courtship we frequented amusement parks. First Disneyland, then Kennywood, then Knotts Berry Farm (where our engagement session will be!), even Scandia.

We love going to pick out pumpkins to carve before Halloween each year. This is a new tradition I’m particularly fond of as I never did this as a child. (I love new traditions we start together.)

We are not generally social butterflies; you can often find us hiding in a corner or outside major social events like weddings. Though this one was more difficult to hide through, as it was Sister Ticket’s wedding and I was in it. Photographers caught us when we didn’t even know they were there (including Mama Ticket)!

Since Mr. Ticket moved to SoCal, we have even made a day trip to Vegas to visit his brother while he was there for work. May I suggest NOT driving from LA to Vegas and back in one day…SO MUCH DRIVING! But we had a blast while we were there.

This next photo is from my first bridal shower! Mr. Ticket’s family was EXTREMELY generous and threw me an awesome bridal shower while we were in Pittsburgh in March (more details on that later!). I love his family. Can’t wait to be a part of it.

We are huge goofballs and love to have fun and generally be silly. Mr. Ticket will walk around the house singing and making me laugh in any way he can.

And these are only the beginning! I can’t wait to share the stories and adventures of wedding planning with you bees!

I love that you can’t wait to be apart of his family. Not everyone get’s that. I fell in love with his family and it made me so excited to marry him and move to a different country.

LOL! We have a great deal of couple self-portraits as well - thankfully the fiance has long arms and good aim so he usually gets both heads in the pics (unlike me lol).

You two look so happy and cute - yay!

I can only hope you fully love the Potato Patch. That and the Jackrabbit are the only things that got me to Kennywood during high school picnic days. And my fiance and I LOVE pumpkin patches. Just hoping he’s home from his deployment in time to go to one

I love Knotts Berry Farm! Specifically Knotts Scary Farm. I just had to stay away from the clown area when I visited a friend in LA with my best man a couple years ago. I can’t wait to see your e-pics!

I love all your “self-portraits,” Ticket! Mr. P and I are totally masters of the “one-armed photo shoot,” as we like to call it. Also, Disneyland is pretty much my/our favorite place on earth! Since I will be a SoCaler (totally not right, but whatevs) very soon, I insist we have a bee meet-up there!

@Future Army Wife - The Potato Patch is hands down Mr. Ticket’s FAVORITE part of all of Kennywood. I personally love Exterminator and Phantom’s Revenge, also had a great time at the park for their Halloween events.

@Miss Kettle - I love Knotts Scary Farm too! I still need to take Mr. Ticket though, he’s only been to the normal park.

Cute pics, we love taking self portraits too I think it’s wonderful that you can’t wait to be a part of Mr. T’s family. As someone else said, not everyone gets that lucky!
