to bring you pictures of my new Post-Wedding Chop!
Honestly, this chop had nothing to do with the fact that our wedding is now over, and had everything to do with the fact that, regardless of timing, my hair looked ratty, shapeless, and just plain awful. It had more split ends than I’d ever seen. It was just time.
So I decided to follow the lead of many of my fellow bees (see Crepe, Hyena, Barrettes, Glasses, Pretzel, Plaid, Sand Dollar, Hot Wings, Lamb, Guinea Pig, Poodle, Buttons, Cheeseburger, Cowboy Boot, and a whole lot more) and choppity chop chop it off.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t long enough to donate, but I ended up getting about six or seven inches lopped off. I feel about a thousand pounds lighter, and Mr. S, who always prefers me with shorter hair, keeps looking over at me and exclaiming “You look so cute!” Isn’t that sweet?
Will you or did you do a PWC?
LOVE it! I have a PWC planned for the day after. No exaggeration. FI likes me better with shorter hair too and long hair is soooooooo much more work. I love sass and style of shorter do!

Nope, I’m keeping my hair long! Up until I had my son when I was 20, my hair DIED if it got longer than the top of my shoulders. Now, it’s ALIIIIVE! It’s shiny, has movement/bounce, and is manageable… even if it still tangles horribly! LOL!
Besides, my FI loves me with long hair.

Sexy! That’s awesome that your husband prefers shorter hair…mine doesn’t, but I did the post-wedding chop anyway.
