After establishing what I thought would be a clear vision for our centerpieces, I began collecting green vases and milk glass in haste. I set a limit of $2 for my vases (although I found most for $1 or less) and began collecting/hoarding.
Get ready for a lot of green coming your way:

We believe we will have about 18 tables of guests, so our collection is more than adequate to remove some of the larger or more common looking pieces to keep the tables looking different and eclectic. Plus, we have some extras in case we need to decide add arrangements at other tables, like the cake table or next to the memorial table.
I began to question my green vase choice when my florist tried (and failed) to hide his distaste for our vase choice at our initial meeting, but we’re sticking with them. They might scream unwanted ’70s green vases to some, but I love them and I think they will add the touch of green I’m craving.
Have you had a vendor question your choices only to become more entrenched in your decision?
