After the cocktail hour was over, everyone sat down at their tables and we got ready for our first dance. Months and months ago, we’d chosen I’ll Be There by the Jackson Five as our first dance song, so our awesome DJ Josh queued it up and we moved our booties to the dance floor.

And Mr. S, who hates dancing, even seemed like he was having a bit of fun! Shocker!

My uncle and his wife looked on, and this is one of my favorite photos from the whole night. How cute are they?

After about a minute, minute and a half, DJ Josh invited all of the other couples onto the dance floor. This had been at our request, since we didn’t want to be the center of attention for a full four minutes. So the dance floor filled up.

And then, the reception continued.
