After the first dance, everyone sat down to eat. I hope you all like pictures of food, because that’s basically all you’re gonna get in this post!

First there was savory…

And then there was sweet.

A few things to note:

One of the most universal pieces of wedding day advice is to make sure you have time to eat. Well, we did. Our caterer made sure that we sat down with full plates of food, and we had plenty of time have dinner. But you know what? We were both so wired and excited that neither of us could handle more than a few bites. The food was delicious, but we couldn’t eat. Instead, we made our way to all of the tables and chatted up our guests.

Also of note: how good do those cupcakes look? Do you remember my inspiration photos back in the day? Bridesmaid J did an absolutely perfect job of recreating them. And best of all, they were tasty! She did some salted caramel, and some chocolate, and everyone loved them.

How did we get here?

• The Sloth Recaps Commence
• We have a nice rehearsal lunch
• And then we ate dinner at my mom’s.
• The next morning, the girls got purdy.
• And so did the dudes.
• We our rainy first look.
• And then hung out in a muddy field.
• And got some more garden portraits.
• We posed with our attendants.
• And our families.
• We did the whole processional thing.
• Our officiant kicked ass.
• So did Mr. S’ vows.
• We had a cocktail hour.
• And we danced.
