We ordered Mr. HW’s wedding band and got word that it had arrived at the jeweler’s last week. His ring size has fluctuated a bit in the last few years, so we went to go have him try it on as soon as possible to make sure we wouldn’t have to get it resized or have to order a new one.

There’s something super sexy, sultry, and awesome about that picture above. I may have squealed with excitement when I dropped it into this post.

Mr. High Wire is ready to get it done, folks. He’s helped with so many projects and attended so many meetings. I am so lucky in that he participated because he actually wanted to and not because he had to. But nevertheless, the poor guy is a little burnt out I think.

At my bachelorette party last weekend (more to come on that topic, of course!) one of my bridesmaids had sneakily sent Mr. HW a list of questions that he was to answer along with me, and all the attendees at the party.

Then we all compared answers. One of the last questions was “What is Mr. High Wire most excited about for the wedding?” and I knew the answer instantly. He was ready for it to be here and then be over. Ready for me to be his hot blonde wife and be a stand-up husband. And when it was time to compare answers, I got a big fat green check next to my prediction.

We’re almost at the t-minus 1 month mark, and I’m feeling similar pangs. But just a few more projects and details to solidify and then we are ready to go! Currently I don’t feel stressed out or upset at all, which I’m sure will change shortly. But for now I am very thankful for it.
