Last weekend was an epic soiree of great friends, artistic endeavors, and a good old fashioned slumber party. It was even better than I imagined it would be and I’m so thankful to have these memories for the rest of my life.
The activities started at Spaghetti Warehouse where we were seated in the sweet train car in the center of the restaurant:

My aunt made these cute little lollipop centerpieces:

I was actually a little nervous on the time frame since we only had about an hour to eat and had a pretty big group. But, our waiter was fantastic! He served the whole train car quickly and efficiently. I was really impressed.
There was also a balloon lady who presented me with this awesome balloon!

After dinner, it was time for our painting class!

There was a lovely welcome sign and table for us!

Here was the painting I had selected for the evening:

I honestly had no idea how on earth I was going to re-create this artwork, but the instructor was really excellent and gave great instruction.

Our paint supply for the evening ready to go at each station

Paintings in progress:

There was also artwork for sale around the studio that we could browse:

A creative twist by my friend Kathy:

Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves!

And then just like that (okay, 3 hours later) we were all done!

But the night wasn’t over yet! We still had a slumber party to get to…
Did you/will you include your mother in your bachelorette festivities?
