When we left off last time, we were heading to my house for a slumber party!

Awesome table decorations provided by the bridesmaids

On Thursday night, I noticed Mr. High Wire had a huge sheet of handwritten notes that he was copying into his phone. He asked me not to ask him about it, so I wouldn’t ruin a surprise planned for the weekend. Okay, fine.
Well, he was answering questions like:
1. Where did you guys meet? When?
2. What was he doing when y’all met?
3. Who said “I love you” first?
4. Where was your first date?
5. What was the first movie you watched together?
6. What was the first gift she bought him?
7. Who was your first mutual friend?
8. Where did they get engaged? When?
9. How long did it take her to find “the dress?”
10. What did he help with the most when the wedding was planned?
11. What was the hardest thing for her while planning the wedding?
12. What has she enjoyed the most with the wedding planning?
13. What is she looking forward to the most about being married?
14. What is he looking forward to the most about being married?
When we got settled into our slumber party attire, Bridesmaid Sara revealed that she had sent the questions to Mr. High Wire. Then she said that everyone else will also be answering the questions. And then we were all going to compare answers.
It was hilarious! Some people had really creative answers when they were unsure. I think Mr. High Wire and I only answered differently on 2 or 3 questions. It was scary how close our answers were!
For the rest of the evening, there was lots to partake in. In the living room, a few girls played on our Xbox Kinect and got pretty competitive:

We munched on some yummy snacks.

I baked these amazing chocolate chip cookies. I don’t mean to brag, but…I’m bragging. They were good.

And then we all started to color.

We proceeded to color until FOUR O’CLOCK IN THE MORNING. Insanity.
Then it was most certainly time for bed! Everyone piled onto free beds, futons, air mattresses and couches. I think we wound up with eleven ladies sleeping over at my house and no one had to sleep on the floor! Thank goodness.
The following morning MOH Marcee and I ventured out to get everyone donuts and we all had a lovely relaxed morning at the house while individuals slowly left to go back to their own lives.
In true slumber party fashion, I picked up some little party favors for the ladies to grab on their way out:

Yes, those are Lisa Frank goodie bags!
Definitely a night for the ages! I am so happy with the way everything turned out and I couldn’t ask for a better group of women to have shared the time with.
