The detail that is making my heart flutter today is head gear…or head wear. Whatever. Veils and such. After stumbling upon an amazing video over at Style Me Pretty, I really started to think what I wanted to do with my hair. I naturally just thought I would wear a veil and be done with it, but after seeing so many wonderful options, I don’t know how I will pick.

The first look I love is the Bohemian look. I think I would be able to pull this off simply because our wedding is on the beach and will probably be a little less formal that a ballroom wedding.

I love this look so much; it gives me butterflies in my stomach.

The other look I really love is the mantilla veil. Ever since I saw a picture of my mom at her wedding with a cathedral mantilla veil I knew I wanted to do this also.

I just love it all! Maybe I will make a compromise with myself and wear the veil for the ceremony and my flower wreath for the reception! Can you even make a compromise with yourself? Hmm…Never mind.

I love the mantilla as well! I’m going to wear it for the ceremony/pics, and then remove it (hoping to either have a small flower accent already in my hair, or something I can add)

Maybe do a chapel-length mantilla veil with a fancy hair clip or flower. You can have it (because it’s gorg) for all the pics then take it off, and you will still have a nice hair accessory for the reception.

I say go with the hair wreath/crowns from Etsy- they are just so unique & romantic!

On a side note, that Pallas dress you posted just gave me total dress envy

My mother is making a lovely birdcage veil out of French lace! We have also created a feather flower fasinator that hopefully can be worn separately from the birdcage veil as I want to take it off for the reception. Mommy is so crafty!

Just now reading this and om’zosh, i was going to do the same thing! Wear a mantilla veil for the ceremony and then floral daisy wreath for reception…but then i found a different veil.
