…the awesome wedding-day-attire details! I have had so much fun shopping for all the little incidentals for the wedding-day outfit. This one is a particular favorite of mine. Oh, but first…

I always liked football, but I was never an avid fan. However, upon meeting Mr. Ticket I started watching Steelers games every chance I got. Now I love it! Which is why I knew I needed to incorporate Mr. Ticket’s and my love for the Steelers into our special day somehow, and as soon as I saw these babies I knew it was meant to be.

I bought them from GranniesGarters on eBay, and she was great. (They are identical to those shown above.) Despite my first set getting lost in the mail (tracking number says they are still in transit—first class mail doesn’t take three weeks to arrive), she promptly sent me another pair and I love them! And at only $21.99 with shipping included, they were the cheapest and cutest garters I found! I can’t wait to see the look on Mr. Ticket’s face when he sees these.

Anyone else sporting their favorite team somehow on their wedding day? Anyone else TOTALLY stoked for football season?!

I totally got Steelers garters too!!! I read in another Bee’s story how they put it on a football to throw to the guys… so I picked up a Nerf Steelers football (black & yellow!)

Don’t know if I’ll use the football yet or not- I don’t want it to look like I gave birth to a football from my dress, you know? haha, anyways we shall see Def. a fun way to actually get guys to WANT to catch it though…

Oh yes - I can’t sew all that well but mom is going to help me make a garter set that will mix our White Sox and Cubs teams together! Mr. Ticket is going to love them!

Haha, no, no football for us beyond my casual rooting for the Ravens. (Boo steelers! lol, j/k!)

I also went the custom garter route and surprised him with the cutest Batman garter set!

Oh my goodness! I cannot tell you how excited I was when I saw this! YAY! We are keeping somewhat suttle football/sports theme in our wedding. I am planning on getting a set made where my fav and his fav team helmets are opposing each other. It will be a surprise for him. I am also getting a custom football made for our photos, we are gonna toss the ball a bit with our bridal party! So excited to see someone else incorporate a little love for the sport!

I just made my own football themed garter!! Although for the hassle I should have just bought one lol. We are die-hard Packer fans (sorry Steeler fans!) who live in Green Bay so it was a must!! I’m using mine as the ‘throw’ one so some lucky guy gets to keep it.

sweet i love this. my FI is a huge Texas longhorn fan so have already been looking for longhorns garters… i will have to check out that seller on ebay.

are you gonna tell him ahead of time or just surprise him when he goes up your dress?? I want to surprise him, but im so excited wanna show him ahead of time too…lol i have a hard time keeping a secret from him.

I had a Michigan University garter made!! The fiance is a HUGE Mich fan….it has the signature “M” on it which has dual purpose…my honey’s name starts with a M!:) I can’t wait until he sees it!! <3

We live in Green Bay, WI, so we are both huge PACKER fans!! Our wedding is out of state, so we are trying to incorporate some little pieces here and there. I’m thinking of a Packers garter–so cute!! So far, we are going to walk into the Packer G Force fight song and my honey will be surprised with a cheesehead Groom’s cake!

Yay! Steelers!! I can’t decide what to do… We are both huge Steelers but we met back in college. I can’t decide between a college or NFL garter… but I’m doing one or the other for sure! =)

AWESOME!!! My family and I bleed black and gold!!!! We live in WA but my dad is from PA and we were raised to hail to the Steelers!! I have to get these for my sister! They fly back for at least one game a year. My family has even been in newspapers back in PA because they have been the only fans to greet the team when they come to town! Not to mention all the guff they get when they do!!!

I don’t like football, but my fiance LOOOOOOOVES the Cowboys. I have even made jerseys for our dog and cat and we are going to take a family picture, all in Cowboys jerseys. So as a surprise to my fiance, I bought a Cowboys garter set off Etsy. He won’t know about it until he goes digging for the garter. He’s going to FLIP! I’m so excited to see his reaction. I’ll also be able to have a little piece of him with me throughout the day.
