Making Magnificent Monograms

August 30th, 2011 @ 2:17 pm by Miss Petit Four

…or at least somewhat magnificent monograms. That didn’t sound as good, though. :D I love me some good alliteration.

After playing around with Photoshop and different colors and shapes, I came up with these guys.

Making Magnificent Monograms : wedding diy isla mujeres stationery Picture016 I am still working on more of them because I’m not fully satisfied with the way these came out, but I did come up with a few ways to use them.

Save the dates!

By the way, did anyone else notice that neither of the individuals’ last names starts with “K”? Very suspicious…

Wedding programs!

Custom stickers, shirts, stamps, etc.

I am also going to use them on our menus that I plan on making at some point. So there you have it! There are plenty of places to use them, and they are fun and somewhat easy to make yourself!

Are you using a monogram? Where are you gonna put it?

I love monograms!

I think the save the date with the K monogram might include the couples first and middle names, not necessarily their last names…

I Love the second one! I wasn’t thinking of using one at all but you’ve kind of inspired me to think about it!

Ohh, the second one you made looks so polished and nice. I didn’t even think of doing something like this, but now I just have to! Isn’t it funny how many times that happens in wedding planning? :)

I like them so far but they could benefit from tweaking… I think the date on the first one in bold or a different font may help..and I think the second is my favorite…and I think something about the starfish in the last needs to change..maybe the color or shape I don’t know but the rest is perfect..Actually I think the third is my favorite… Either way you did a great job!

We got a monogram free with our order at Things Remembered. We’re going to use it all over our stuff for w-day: (programs, favors, etc.) And we used it for our moo cards, STDs, and e-party invites.
